Notes:

• Gran says Frances' father John returned to Poland with Bernice (Bernie), the youngest, after their mother died, because life here was too tough. Bernice came back to visit Pittsburgh later in life and she and Frances stayed in touch.
• Gran says John Thomas was a 'huckster' selling fruit but he went of out of business because he gave everyone credit during the depression. Gran said she grew up eating tons of left over fruit.
• Gran says Frances was a great cook.
• Gran was real close growing up with her cousin Ella.
