• Aunt I. claims he had a brother named Walter Urbanek who had only girls (hard to track down the names/families).
• Aunt I. remembers Joseph deserted the Austrian army to come to the US (after he met Victoria in Poland). He left when they gave them fake wooden guns instead of real ones.
• Aunt I. remembers Josef's mother was from a well-to-do family who didn't like his father, so they were never married.

• Aunt I. remembers Tubbs was a colonel. During the war, he won a raffle for a weekend R&R trip. While away, his entire troop was bombed and wiped out.
