Notes on Warclaw:

• This website shows an 1907 map of the area with a modern name of the corresponding town of Przewodowo (in province Warszawa): Przewodowo-Majorat.
• Mr. (Teddy) Pitizak [sic] was William's best friend. They may have known each other from Poland or met at the Bording house, but they were life-long friends.
• Aunt R. says William left Poland to avoid fighting in the Russian army.
• William built a multi-unit house in Castle Shannon (Willow Ave), which later (after he died) burnt down and was rebuilt. Front was a beauty salon.
• He was a grave and ditch digger for extra money.
• Aunt R. says William helped found the Polish Falcons nest in his area (he was the treasurer) and was well-known in the community.
• Uncle E. used to drink whiskey and play Pinochle every friday with Barney and William. He says William always had good whiskey to share.
• Aunt R. remembers Uncle Watsy served in the army in Africa during WWII.
• Aunt R. remembers Uncle Leo was in the Coast Guard and served in the Pacific. His ship was attacked by a kamakazee pilot who chickened out at the last minute and ditched in the sea. The pilot was taken prisoner on Leo's ship.
